Point of information
This is not a like for like comparison.
This is only one allowance Welsh AM's can claim not all
AFAIK There is no second home allowance for MLAs which this essentially is for AM's
A quick read of the pdf below shows a Welsh Am can calim about £14K in office costs and about £61K for staff costs.
so £75K is the comparable figure not £12.5
