City celebrates monarch's 80th
A free open air concert is being held in Birmingham City Centre on Friday to celebrate the Queen's 80th birthday.

The event, organised by the city council, will take place in Victoria Square from 1900 BST.

Bands from local police, fire brigade and Territorial Army will be providing the entertainment, and will perform a rendition of Happy Birthday.

About 150 representatives from the air, sea, army cadets and scouts and guides are also attending the event.
