NEW: Comments RSS Feed for Firefox

Permalink 12:39:01 pm, Categories: Everything Ulster Site, 224 words

USERS who view Everything Ulster through the Firefox web browser can now get instant access to a list of our recent comments, as well as recent posts.

I'm still working out how blogs in general and sepcifically the open-source b2evolution software, used at EverythingUlster.com, operate. These RSS/Atom feeds have always been available through links on the right hand side of the site, but now you can access them through Firefox directly using this [Firefox RSS icon] icon, which can be found at the right hand side of the status bar at the bottom of the browser window. (see Note)

Users can choose from RSS 2 and the new Atom technology for syndicating either EU Comments or the EverythingUlster blog itself (ie our recent posts).

Let me know if any of you find this feature useful.

[More:]

* The actual blog posts were always accessible in Firefox using this icon. Previously only the blog posts feeds were available (these were also available in RSS 0.92 format). I have removed the 0.92 standard as it may confuse novice users, especially with the new EU Comments feeds available as well as the existing blog posts ones.

NOTE: Since Everything Ulster has now moved, you should visit EverythingUlster.com and use the RSS feed there - there's not much point being kept up to date on a site which isn't being updated any more!
