More loyalists out rioting around Woodvale in north Belfast today. Police had petrol bombs thrown at them following searches linked to a UVF "show of strength" on Saturday.

The good news is the police managed to nail 4 of the bastards on Saturday and 3 today following the trouble. 'Community representatives' helped to calm the crowds before water cannons and impact rounds were used (although the police had asked for and received authorisation to use them). It's almost a shame really, I get the impression some of the morons could use a plastic bullet up their arse and/or a good shower.

It's wasn't bad enough that these brain-dead no hopers will likely be living on the dole, paid for by your taxes and mine, for the rest of their lives. I was going to say they expect the taxpayer to fork out for policing their recreational riots, but that would be giving them too much credit - they don't think for a second who's paying for their pathetic, childish and dangerous behaviour.

Of course there were the usual allegations of 'heavy handedness' and 'bully boy tactics'. For a second you almost feel sorry for the gun-toting terrorists that the police officers forgot to say 'please' before beginning the search. No wait... no you don't.
