Wastes Of Space Waste My Weekend
Police and army landrovers were deployed throughout Belfast.
Scumbags. Fucking wastes of skin. I can't think of the words to describe my absolute and utter contempt for the wretched excuses for men and women rioting on the streets of Belfast tonight. While normal people, you know, the ones with lives, were out chatting to friends in a pub, or settling down to watch a film with a loved one, those with nothing to break up the mundane pointlessness of their lives decided to fuck up everyone else's weekend for them.
Some parade wasn't allowed to march down some street. Argue about the right or wrongness of such a decision all you want but leave me the hell out of it. I don't give a flying one either way. In fact, now I hope they never get to march down that road again.
Follow up:
Someone was shot at Shaftsbury Square as shots were fired at police lines and the police retaliated with plastic bullets and water cannons. There were also reports of gunfire in various parts of the city.
My brother's stag night was disrupted as people had trouble getting into Belfast because these soap-dodging dole-sponging educationless wasters had decided to hijack cars and buses and burn them out, blocking roads throughout north Belfast. We watched about a dozen army landrovers drive past the bar and the lads' girlfriends and parents began phoning to check everyone was ok and update us on the latest scumbaggery. As things got worse, we eventually had to abandon the night as they tried to get home while they still could, with taxi-depots all throughout the area shutting down early.
I would normally have sympathy for the Orangemen and their right to march, (to some degree anyway) but given the disgusting antics of their supporters, and their apparent inaction to persuade those supporters to catch themselves on and go home, I sincerely hope the Orangemen's parade at Whiterock gets re-routed next year too. Fuck them. I'm really losing patience with these so-called 'loyalists' and with the Orange Order too.
Forget police 'heavy-handedness', it's times like these that call for some real brutality. Plastic bullets are for pussies, break out the live rounds and let the snipers loose.
