On Spain...
David Healy is a living legend. First Northern Ireland hat-trick at Windsor Park in 35 years. George Best got the last one, apparently.
Much to happy and drunk to post any more. Just enjoy the highlights.

Just wanted to say well done to the Irish lads playing last night who beat Spain. When's the next game?

There's only one team in ireland, yet there are two teams in Ulster??? Yet more tricks by John Bull and his planter collaborators

You have a point beano, there should only be one team to represent Ireland. There is only one team in Ireland and there should only be one team in Ireland.Imagine a George Best or a Roy Keane in an All Ireland team.

Welldone! You have an excellent team NI and David Healy is worth so much more than the pathetic so-called England 'Superstars' we in England have!

Wish I was going Paul, but the IFA endorsed trip is a day trip, so god knows what time they're flying home at following an 8pm kick-off :/

There are all kinds of weird and wonderful and cheaper ways of getting there than through the IFA.
Only problem is you won't be able to do it as a day trip and hotels (and beers) are pretty expensive.

Paul I investigated a couple of options - easyjet Belfast-Berlin-Copenhagen and Belfast-London-Copenhagen. Neither were up to much. Ryanair's only flights from Dublin are on the Friday and Tuesday IIRC. I wish I could take that much time away from my studies (and work) but I have neither the time nor the cash sadly.
