Get Over Che - Commies Aren't Cool

Well it's the time of year again when fresh-faced first-year students arrive for their first taste of freedom and a diet of fast food. One feature present each and every year amongst the great unwashed masses that constitute the student population (besides hordes upon hordes of culchies) is an enormous number of armchair socialists clad in T-shirts featuring that iconic image of Che Guevara and this year seems to be no exception.
Really now, this has got to stop; mainly because most of those clad in the T-shirts are idiots who probably know less about Che Guevara than I do.
Follow up:
The small number who know anything beyond "he was a socialist" carry on wearing the T-shirts even after they realise he was a murdering psychopath who knew too well that people's emotions would have to be cynically manipulated and twisted for him to achieve his aim - which seems to have been mostly to do with replacing one dictatorship with another.
We know how much the provos love Che (I've seen the poster too); and Cuba and Cuba's socialist-dictatorship (if only the people of Northern Ireland were so easily co-erced, eh Gerry?). Perhaps some of Che's fanboys, particularly those fond of blogs and the internet, should have a think about the lengths to which Cubans have to go to just to access the internet, something we take so much for granted, (and try to see past the "It's the Americans what done it" line). Then again, if you think that's bad, spare a thought for Chinese surfers.
You're adults now guys, time to grow up and realise that commies aren't cool.
