Official: Culchies Are Stupid

A judge from the Republic has branded people from Tyrone as typically thick.
It would seem difficult to disagree with him were it not for the fact that it was his own justice administration making a fuck-up that put her there in the first place.
His comments came after a woman from Donaghmore was wrongly summonsed to court because her details matched those of another woman and, being from Northern Ireland, she didn't have any Euros on her to pay to have the case thrown out.
Edit: Apparently this is the same judge who responded to a defendant who gave his address as Londonderry by saying he "didn't want to see this rubbish coming before him again" and that as far as he was concerned it was "just Derry with a capital D."
People in glass houses, your honour.

I didn't see that quote first time. He's even better than I thought.
McBride J for Chief Justice!
You forgot Koenigsberg or Kaliningrad.
(That's my favourite!)
Cobh or Queenstown ? Dun Laoghaire or Kingstown ? Birr or Parsonstown ? Portlaoise or Maryborough ? Offally or Kings County ? Dingle or Dangle !
What kind of an idiot system wrongly summons somebody and then CHARGES them for throwing the case out ?
What kind of idiot state employs such as an idiot judge and operates such an idiot system ?
Joking aside (and I think the Tyrone and Derry comments were hilarious - albeit somewhat inappropriate in a court of law), it is extremely odd that this woman who was wrongly summonsed to court should have to pay to have the case against her thrown out.
The lady in question should have stormed out in a huff and sat on the steps of the courthouse in protest - now THAT would have been a typical Tyrone reaction!
Also stop harping on about the Columbia 3, they were never found guilty during a trial, so they aren't running from an impartial law.
After all that time he spent chained to a radiator in Beirut!
;-)
They were hardly trying to point out the fact ?
The judge along with his colleagues should concentrate on handing down sensible sentences to law breakers.
